Join us for an exciting opportunity to participate in the first Northern Michigan Fiber Festival Winter Workshops, celebrating the Alpena, Michigan Fire and Ice Festival! This event will be hosted at the Art in The Loft, on February 21st from 12 pm - 4 pm.  Don't miss out on the chance to learn new skills and connect with fellow fiber enthusiasts!

Community Weaving Project: Threads that Connect Us

 

Visit us at Art in the Loft on February 21st and choose one, two, or more threads from our community basket to develop a community created tapestry, to be displayed at the 2026 Northern Michigan Fiber Festival (last weekend of September). No experience needed! Just a willingness to ad your thread to the story we are weaving together.
