Two is better than one–in socks and teachers! Expert teachers Julie Drogsvold and Debbie Held pair up their love of cotton and wool, respectively, in this class on blending and spinning for the ultimate sock blend. Using basic yarding equipment (hand cards and blending boards), students will blend together an ideal mix of U.S.-grown cotton with just-the-right wool, for a durable, breathable sock yarn, before then spinning and testing ply structures. Student must be able to spin a stable singles yarn with their spinning apparatus of choice. **Required Materials: Hand cards or blending board and associated accessories.
